Our Approach

Located in Arlington, VA’s Ballston Quarter, sshape fully upgraded 950 N. Glebe's first-floor retail space to attract new tenants. The focal point of the renovation is a multi-functional amenity and conference center. This space features an adjoining coffee bar that seamlessly integrates with the main lobby. The design incorporates a variety of seating arrangements, including dedicated touchdown areas for tenants, all fostering a collaborative and welcoming atmosphere. Direct access to street-level seating further enhances the space's functionality. Drawing on the beauty of Virginia's natural landscapes and the intimacy of high-end boutique hotels, the design creates a cohesive and welcoming atmosphere throughout the space. To ensure a consistent aesthetic from the street to the main retail floor, the project also encompassed the renovation of the building's exterior facade and lobby. In addition to the central amenity space, sshape also designed and completed a fully-equipped fitness center and modern restroom facilities. sshape is currently working on the design of speculative office suites within the building, further enhancing the overall tenant experience.
