Inventa Towers

Our Approach

sshape partnered with JLL and AREP to re-design Inventa Towers in downtown Silver Spring, MD, revitalizing the previously outdated building to attract new tenants. Drawing inspiration from Silver Spring's historical roots—specifically the mica-flecked spring discovered by Francis Preston Blair—the amenity floors feature details echoing mica flakes, alongside organic shapes and a nature-inspired color palette with warm woods. The 8th floor at Inventa Towers now includes four spec suites surrounding a central communal townhall. The townhall has a full coffee bar and kitchen, providing tenants with a versatile space for hosting events. Adjacent to the kitchen, a variety of meeting spaces and seating arrangements are available, including both enclosed and open rooms, with a connecting wellness room. Two of the four spec suites were leased immediately and sshape is currently developing a similar layout for the 9th floor of the building, with completion anticipated in 2026.
