Our Approach

KIPP DC has relocated its National Headquarters to a 15,000 RSF office at Signal House, moving closer to the Northeast DC communities and schools it serves. This high-performance workplace features a strategic layout where collaborative zones and quiet areas coexist to support diverse work styles. The design prioritizes employee wellness and ergonomic equity, featuring a light-filled breakroom with a dedicated terrace that serves as a central hub for social connection and internal events. To mitigate noise in the open-office areas, the design integrates a diverse mix of huddle rooms and private phone booths, complemented by height-adjustable workstations and upgraded technology throughout. The result is an approachable, inclusive environment that provides teachers and staff with equitable training spaces that are as technologically advanced as they are community-focused.
