Our Approach

The Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS) decided to depart from their outdated office and relocate to 101 Constitution Avenue, a premiere Washington, DC location, offering unparalleled views and immediate proximity to the U.S. Capitol. DISCUS selected sshape to design their new headquarters, and the office space was meticulously tailored to pay homage to the prestigious legacy of the spirits industry. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by a collection of rare historical artifacts, including a 1799 letter by George Washington regarding his Mount Vernon distillery operation, and a 1776 Continental Army Commissary List documenting liquor accounts for General George Washington and fellow Continental officers. As guests proceed through the office, an archway shaped like a spirits bottle leads them to a spacious entertaining area featuring a spectacular 30-foot tiled bar with stools, cocktail booths, and a variety of lounge seating. In addition to its breathtaking views of the Washington Capitol, this area offers organizations and companies the opportunity to utilize the space for receptions, meetings, and thought leadership forums. The workspace incorporates phone rooms, team and conference rooms, private offices, as well as ergonomic sit-to-stand desk options and comfortable lounge seating, providing employees with the flexibility to work in their preferred manner.
